Grade 5 & 6 Outdoor School Adventure

Our Grade 5 and 6 students had an incredible time at Outdoor School this week at YMCA Camp Chief Hector! From team-building activities to outdoor adventures, it was a memorable experience full of learning, connection, and fun.

A huge thank you goes out to our amazing teachers - Ms. Moore, Ms. Keys, Ms. Hildenbrand, and Ms. Drever - for all the care and energy they put into making this trip possible. We also want to recognize Mr. K, our assistant principal, and Mr. Sager, our French teacher, for joining the group and supporting students throughout the experience.

We’re also very thankful to our families for their trust and support in allowing us to take students away from home for a few nights. Your confidence means a great deal to us. We’re fortunate to have such a committed team making these meaningful experiences possible for our students.

Spring Photo Day – Monday, April 7

Just a reminder that Monday, April 7 is Spring Individual and Classroom Picture Day with Lifetouch. In general, younger students will have their photos taken in the morning, with older students scheduled for the afternoon. Please make sure your child comes to school ready for their photo!

Spring 2025 CHS Merch Store Now Open

The Capitol Hill School Spring 2025 merch store is now open - and it’s the final chance this school year to order CHS gear! The online shop features a variety of custom-made items like t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, jackets, hats, and toques/beanies, all available in different colours to suit your style. Orders are due by April 15, and everything will be delivered to the school in mid- to late May - just in time for the warmer weather! Don’t forget to check out our Donate a Shirt Program, which lets you gift a t-shirt or hoodie to a fellow CHS student. Head to the store here: https://chsspring2025store.itemorder.com/shop/sale/
