Remembrance Day Assembly

Today, our school gathered for a special Remembrance Day assembly. It was a meaningful time for us to honour and remember those who have served - and continue to serve - our country in times of war, conflict, and peace.

A big thank you to our Grade 6 students and teachers for leading the assembly with care and respect. Your words and leadership helped everyone understand why this day matters.

We also want to thank Ms. Whitehead and the Division II Choir for their beautiful performance of "One Tin Soldier." The song added something very special to the ceremony and touched everyone in the room.

Thank you to all who helped make this a thoughtful and respectful event.

CHS Supports Veterans Food Bank of Alberta

Capitol Hill School is proud to continue our support of the Veterans Food Bank of Alberta (Calgary) as we head into the holiday season. This initiative gives our school community a chance to give back to veterans who have served our country and may now need support.

We started collecting this week and are already seeing generous donations coming in - thank you! Let’s keep the momentum going and work together to make this our biggest collection yet.

What to Bring: Unexpired, non-perishable food items

Drop-Off Location: Designated bins just past the CHS front entryway

Collection Runs Until: Winter Break

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us support such a meaningful cause. Together, we can make a real difference for veterans in our community.
