Alien In-Line Updates
During the third week of our Alien Inline Skating residency, the program was impacted by the instructor’s illness on Tuesday and Wednesday. As a result, Grade 3 and Kindergarten students missed their scheduled sessions. Make-up days for these students have been arranged for October 28 and October 29, which are the days Alien Inline could provide.
Halloween Dance
Join us for this year’s Halloween Dance on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Capitol Hill School gym! Hosted by School Council and CHEES, this free event is open to all CHS families. There will be a concession stand, so bring your Loonies and Toonies for candy, and pizza slices will be available for $2 each. Don’t forget your water bottle as no beverages will be sold. Please note, all students must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. If you can volunteer for 30 minutes, sign up here: Halloween Dance - Oct 24, 2024.
School Photo Day – October 21st
School Photo Day is scheduled for October 21st. Individual student photos will be taken by Lifetouch Photography. Retakes will be available in November for students who are absent or require a new photo. In spring 2025, there will be another opportunity for individual photos as well as full class photos, including for new students.
Capitol Hill School Apparel – Last Week to Order
Reminder: The Capitol Hill School Fall 2024-25 apparel store closes next Friday, October 25. Browse our collection of t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats, and more. Don’t forget, you can also participate in the Donate a Shirt Program to help another student. Place your order now: Capitol Hill School Fall Store. All items are custom-made and cannot be returned. Orders will be delivered approximately 4-5 weeks after the store closes.
